I have lots and lots of satisfied clients but finding
the time to solicit and post the testimonials from them can be challenging! Here is one from Elaine and Donald Evans
who just retired here in April, 2010 from Maimi and are now happily living in one of the best locations in Ardsley Park at
303 East 46th Street. Here are some pictures: http://ronmelander.smugmug.com/Ardsley-Park/Elaine-and-Donald
"Looking
for a house is a real hard and looking for the right realtor is even harder. When we decided to look for
a house in Savannah we searched the internet and came across some houses we thought we’d like to look at. There
were some questions about the right part of town for us. We saw Ron’s picture on Keller Williams and thought well
lets email him and ask our questions. As he was going out of town on vacation he assured us that he would get back to
us and he did. He was very personable and guided us each and every step of the way. We saw many houses in
all parts of town. Donald went up there two times to look at houses with Ron. He took a lot of time and effort
in showing us what we liked and also showed us some houses we may not even have thought of to our like. His personality
really clicked with me over the phone and in emails and I actually looked forward to hearing from him. He was not only
our realtor but becoming a friend as well. We finally decided on two houses. I thought the older house with all
the character in the world was for me. Donald wanted the 1960’s on a great block. Ron kept telling us that
the 1960’s house was move in ready. And you know we went with that house and glad of it because the other house
we would be renovating for a long time. He really guided us in the right direction. We are very happy with our
decision. The house we chose is just right for us. Our neighbors are friendly and the part of town perfect especially
our block. I highly recommend Ron Melander as your realtor. He would definitely guide you in the right direction
and I know you will be happy with your choice." Elaine and Donald Evans
A note from Peter Armato, former Executive Director of the Savannah Development and Renewal Authority 1993-1999: Ron, I almost began shedding tears of joy when I saw
in your newsletter the photos of the excavation of Ellis Square! At long last, the plans that so many of us advocated
and mapped out during the mid-1990s, to replace the City Market Garage with an underground parking deck and a restored square,
are moving forward. How Thrilling! This project
will have as big an impact for Downtown Savannah as the restoration of Post Office Square did in Boston's Financial District.
I had the good fortune to walk through that sublime urban space five days a week when I directed a Boston-based economic
development organization, and I can't wait to see the positive transformation in Savannah's
City Market district. Not sure when our next trip to Savannah will be, but Randy and I have at least one more
reason to make it soon. Thanks so much
for sending your informative newsletter, Ron! All the best to you and
Jim, Peter

ps - peter had now moved onto another great job in the world of city building and the ellis square project is
now complete but this is still relevant info!!

Please accept our sincere thanks for your professionalism, energy, perseverance,
and most of all, your ability to employ your vast experience on our behalf. There was never for a moment throughout this whirlwind
set of events that we ever second-guessed our decision to have you represent us in purchasing our home.
Your depth of knowledge of the industry and your apt predictions of the market's
behavior, coupled with your ability to use all the tools available to you was quite impressive to watch. We saw you very skillfully
manage issue after issue, knocking down all the obstacles that sat between us and the home of our dreams. Throughout the entire
process, you kept us calm, involved, informed, and excited about the purchase of our new home.
In a world where customer service with a personal touch is so often lacking,
you outclassed them all. Our only regret is that because the whole process took such a short time, we did not get to work
with you longer. You can rest assured that we will never look for another realtor again as long as you are still in the business.
Please send anyone to talk to us about our experience with you. We will gladly
tell them that they would be making a mistake to not be represented by you, especially in today’s maket.
Thanks again for exceeding our expectations at every turn and helping us to
get our new home!
Best regards,
Christopher Kerr & Michael Santmyer"
